hello and screenwash problem

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum but couldn't find an ' introduce yourself section'.

I have a 2006 325se coupe which has proved faultless until now. Went to use the washwipe system yesterday to find that nothing reached the windscreen jets but poured out from under the wheel arch and onto the drive. The headlight washers worked however. Is this a common fault? Could it have something to do with the freezing temps lately? How easy is it to access the bottle etc. Have never topped this up even as I hardly use the car and BMW top it up when serviced so it's only ever had the proper fluid.

Hello James you probably have a bit of grit in the pipe. I had the same problem with mine and the independent I got the car from sorted it for me under warranty. I don't think BMW are so generous and charge £80 as the washer bottle is located in the wing and it takes about 1-1.5 hours to complete.
