Suggestions for LeMan's Blue - Nearly New
All - I got an '09 LeMan's blue e93 about 2000 miles ago... I've been careful in washing and drying - as a result, I don't have many imperfections at this point. However, I would like to bring more of the paints depth / pop out and also prep for winter. I know I need to do the standard stuff (wash, clay, wash, polish, etc.). I'd appreciate your suggestions on which products to use on the polishing and waxing steps.
I have a PC with an assortment of pads (blue, orange, white). I also have a ton of product left over from a previous correction on my former ride (jet black e60) including Menz Intensive Polish, Menz Final Polish II, JetSeal 109 and CG LSP. Would like to use the rest of those ONLY if they are appropriate / optimal for the new ride. So, looking forward to the vast wisdom from the detailing guru's! Thanks all Jeff |

Jeff,
You certainly can use the products you mentioned on your new car, you have some great options already available. My suggestion would be to use them up and if you're looking for a change, your next time around you could go with some of the newer polishes. Power Finish followed by PO85RD would offer a little less cut than your current combo, but would finish down finer and provide you with more depth and gloss. Jet Seal is a great sealant as is their wax for a topper. That's another thing you could tinker with if you wanted some variation, you could try out some different LSPs and see how they compare. You could try one of the Dodo Juice sample pots and see if you like that wax instead at a low cost. Congrats on the new car, enjoy it! |

Hey. I just got a Le Man Blue 3 months ago. Love that color. On another note, does detailed Image provide a package for newbies. I'm looking for something with grit guard , bucket, sealant, wax, leather cleaner, leather protectant, wash mit and clay bar and couple of micro towels. I was browsing your site but didn't see a package that fit that. I'm trying to stay under $140.
