Climate feature

I read the manual on this one but it doesnt seem to explain the purpose of the Climate function which has a timer associated with it? Unless i missed it.

If you go into the settings, therers an option to activate the climate control - how does it know what climate temp i want etc or is there a different purpose for this?

Cheers

Purpose is to ventilate the car at the time set. Basically run the fans (no a/c) for up to 30 minutes / some temp limit to clear the car of (hot) air.

Something that I use fairly frequently during the summer days to cool the car down for 10 minutes or so before leaving work. Everyone else is jumping into a red hot car, whereas mine has already cooled down somewhat.

I read about this in the manual yesterday actually, seems like a good function.

I'd be worried about using it though as I can see my self coming back from holiday after leaving the car on the drive to find the battery flat!

Even not using the car for 1 day would worry me because the manual says you should only run the function once per drive of the car.

mjh93sa, have you ever had problems with it like that?

It only works once at a time.

You have to re-activate it every day that you want it to operate.

i.e every morning you need to tick the box for it to work at the next time setting.

No problems. As doughboy says the only problem is remembering to set it everyday.

Ah, Brilliant! Will set that up then.

So, this can generate heat to get rid of ice for example?

No, it only vents the air. It will only vent the air, to rid the hot air from your car. No fans are activated, nothing is turned on.

No heating, it just uses the ventilation fan to blow ambient air through the car provided that the temperature is above 15 degC.
