Put mine on 3 weeks ago as we have had a couple days of accumulation. Went from OEM 19in run flats to flat black 19in non-run flats. Rides like a dream and looks so much better.

Just put mine on Sunday.
Immediately noticed my reduced braking power: typical hard decel coming into an intersection right-hand turn ended up with some anti-lock action. My summers at the very same temperature and conditions would have had no problems.

I miss my Bridgestone runflats. (how often do you hear this?)

sounds more quiet and feels lighter with snows on stock. still had trouble going up will with ice though.

Nice! oh yaa now I remember. It's across the street from a Stop&Shop/ mini shopping center. I live a few blocks away from there! It's right next to a Mavis Tire (they suck btw).

Put mine on a few weeks ago once I was satisfied the temps should be consistently 40's and below. No snowfall yet, but they definitely handle and ride better in the subfreezing temps.

Good thinking, I waited until 12/9 and was chasing daylight as we were gonna be away over the weekend.

My first year I drove to Boston on the RE090A's and my cousin said that's a no-no as it was below 20F. He said he lost control of his M3 on dry pavement because the summers are like hockey pucks in the low temps....

I may be imagining it but I feel as if my steering takes just a tad less effort with the snows? I did notice that when I jacked the car up just enough to remove the oem's, it was not enough for the snows, despite that they're 225/40-18's ( I know -1 or 17" is recommended for snows)...

I am gonna get my car in aweek and I am sure in a a few days after that Iw ill put snows on. I have been running snows in the winter for 13 years and dont see any reason to stop now. More money but much better preformance all year round. In the winter my snows are better then most other cars on the road and then I can rock high performance summer tires the other 7-8 months of the year. Only way to go if you live where it snows? drops below 35 degrees for more thena few hours a week IMO

I would have, except for the fact that I was using the 156s that I was currently using. Taking out the rims from the tire and putting a dif tire on them is not something I can do.

Free advice: Get V-rated snows.
For some reason a couple of years ago I decided to go with the H-rated Dunlops, and I have to say that, while they're definitely good in snow, the V's would have been much better the other 98% of the time in the winter when there isn't snow on the ground.

As a rule of thumb I always put mine on Thanksgiving weekend. It's a date I won't forget and that's right about when we start to see any snow around here give or take a week. I have Bilzzack LM-25's on my stock 18's and I always put my winters on myself.

Got mine mounted up on Monday - Blizzak LM60 225/45 tires on 17 x 8 Rial Salerno wheels.

whos drives faster then 100mph in the snow anyway or the 3 months of the year when they are on? lol

I guess I'm part of that club...hit 130mph the other day with my Blizzaks. I was on dry pavement, which for where I live will be the case the majority of the time when I'm running my winters, even during Dec, Jan, Feb.

It's not about the 100+ mph...it's about the harder sidewalls. It makes handling at low speeds much much better. The Vs just feel better when you're just driving around.
