Anyone successfully hardwire a E93?

I've been trying to figure out which wire to tap for the past hour (took out the light/SOS console) for my Escort 9500, can't figure it out.

Every hardwire in the DIY is for either a E90 or E92. The E93 is different since it has no sunroof (obviously).

Anyone care to lend a helping hand? Will drive to you.

Thanks!

try the fuse tap method. you can check the fuse checklist and look for your cig lighter fuse to tap into. or you can try other fuse slots that only have power when the car has power on.

That would be great but I think its impossible to run the wire down the A pillar to the fuse box because the A pillar on the E93 doesn't come off (at least not the same way as it does in the E90/E92, there is no AIRBAG logo to take off to unscrew a screw).

Just tuck the wire in.

Nevermind, its done.

For all future purposes all you gotta do is take out the light/SOS console and tap the red wire going into the driver side harness of the light/SOS console.

I found the wire with a ghetto method... Took a sewing needle and poked a couple of wires, then connected a voltage meeter and turned the car on and off. After 5 tries, finally found a wire that went to 12 Volts when the car is turned on and 0 volts when it is turned off (to make the radar turn on/off with the car).

Took about 30 mins.
