It looks like there is something wrong with the cooling system, rad maybe???

well also at high speeds i get a humming sound and you can feel it, it just worries me and so i was thinking maybe filter is dirty and needs to be changed bc it cant suck it right amount of air but it feels more serious than that idk though

I am real curious what it is. But you could be right about the air filter, but from what I can tell about BMWs is that if something small is off, it feels like something major is wrong, so try not to sweat it until you know what exactly is wrong.

Really? Not saying your wrong, I thought it was the cooling system too, but why would BMW do something like that to worry people for something so small?

Na not really, it just filters the air that enters into your car for your AC and heating. But u can still drive around like that no damage done. You could reset the icon too if ya wanna just drive around and not worry about seeing it. But id get the filter replaced any way just for your health

shouldn't cause any vibration or anything,
that might be in your head, but its worth swapping the filter.
Its a 3 min DIY and the filter shouldn't cost more than $40
