Head light switch

Good evening,

I have tried to locate a European head light switch for my 2009 335d and can’t find one in North America. The usual supplier (Tischer) no longer carries them. I was wondering if one of you could check the price at your local BMW dealership.

The part number is 61316932796

Apparently all US models come pre-wired for rear fogs but the head light switch doesn't have the button.

Mate there is one on Ebay UK here is the link but it ends with 794 check it out.

Hi,

You can email a parts guy over here yourself, at a BMW dealers in Blackpool, England.

He will sell and mail out parts withing the UK and he'll do a discount for forum members if you ask.

i believe its £74.05 plus VAT at 17.5%

but the part no is 61319169405.

i know as i rang up the dealership for this exact switch unit yesterday to fit the E90 LCI model.

Mine was 61 31 9 169 404 for a US spec LCI. I don't know what the differences are between the two part numbers (except 1).

Interesting.. I know there are two numbers for LCI and Pre-LCI. From what a gather the only difference is the LCI model has a fancy piece of chrome around the dial.

For $160 bucks I think I will do the DIY job using a blade and a piece of Lego lol

404 and 406 is for those with rain sensors.

405 is those for without rain sensors.
