Umnitza Angel Eye Kit-Splitting the headlight???-Suggestions!
Hey guys. I was thinking about doing this kit by Umnitza. They have a install diy on the bottom of the page. They say that you split the headlight and then install the headlight. I have a glass guy that installs windows/mirrors/etc basically anything with glass at our dealership. He is confident that he could do the swap but what do you guys think about it. He would use the oem glue to put it back together but do you really have to split the e92 headlights or is that just the e60 headlights? I really like the look and think its the brightest best option but dont know about the whole splitting the headlight thing. What are your thoughts opinions. It is the same spec led angel eyes that OSS installs on their cars.

+1 From a quick glance, it seems to be a similar concept to OSS's product. In which case, just go OSS (I believe you can just buy parts from OSS and have your guy install as well, or send your headlights in for them to install)

confident? from a glass guy? unless he has done it before, I don't see where he got his confidence from. Ask him if he will pay for the replacement if he screws up, see if he is still "confident".

I have installed that exact pair on an e46 and had to bake the headlight, pull it apart, stick them in, put it back in the oven, then reinstall, takes about 2-3 hours
