Looks very impressive. If you have an iphone an slingbox, you can (let the passengers) watch TV on your iDrive display while commuting.

But sorry to tell that, most of the 3 in HK are not coming with iDrive =.=

iDrives comes standard on the Hong Kong 325i's... (current model, i.e. 2009+)

Since you can install this unit yourself following the DIY guide, and it doesn't look like the installation is 'invasive', i think in theory you can undo the installation before you bring your car in for service.

i.e. should be fine.

I am going to purchase one. Will post my findings after i have received and installed it.

if you are driving in HK, then watch out for cops approaching when you are watching the feed while on the move.
