Need suggestions, e90 Center Console grey paint peeling
On the driver side near the seatbelt and the center console compartment lid the gray coating is peeling off
![]() ![]() I was thinking of getting some kind of vinyl wrap or matching gray colored alcantara wrap around the center console. Not planning to go CF (carbon fiber) for the grey console trim since it will clash with the walnut trim. Ideas??? ![]() |

Replace it. Wrap it, although it wouldn't be my first choice.
Go in and talk with your dealer or talk call BMWNA. If the car was under warranty, it would be replaced. We've got a 25yr old Porsche in the garage. The interior looks brand new. |

As I mentioned earlier, I get the run around from the dealerships. I am hoping others can post pics or ideas to modify the center console (not talking about walnut trim) but the console compartment near the handbrake. As of now I am thinking of getting an alcantara wrap or vinyl wrap for the piece and get a split arm rest.
