I assume you have the stock Halogen non xenon lamps. If you have halogen there is no way of getting halos in there. Your best bet is to get the New LCI Halogen headlights.

Not just newer, I have a 2006 325xi with Xenons Stock and Halos.
But There is a whole area in this forum on sponsors that sell kits to install yourself at a good price.

You will want to get OE replacement headlights, the E90 headlights are sealed together so you can't just install rings in the headlights. Full replacements are your best bet.

it depends on the model that you are upgrading to.. you will find plenty of information and ton of options. I suggest LongTran for LUX 5 and matching foglights. I am buying from him, he is a popular and well trusted seller, does wonderful modifications. Installations vary depending what you are trying to do and by manufacturer

You might as well get OEM pre-LCI or LCI xenons. You can get a complete plug and play xenon conversion without any errors on the pre-LCI OEM xenons and maybe on the LCI's too. If you want to go this route, contact Damon (dsc201knoc), he is a registered vendor on this message board.
