Speed Channel on Comcast?
Does anyone know what channel Speed is on Comcast with out the converter box? Since they just made everyone get a converter box to watch tv I can't find Speed. With the box it's on channel 54 but I can't find it on my High-def tv. On the high-def TV all the other channels are their but in random numbers, like Food is 29.5 instead of 66, NESN is 29.11 instead of 51 etc...

Hi-def tv's can pick up the decimal channels without a cable box.
So like 4,5,7 broadcast in 1080i on channel 4.1, 5.1, and 7.1 Fox is in 720i on 25.1. I haven't tried it get but I'm guessing with the cable box, 4,5,7 and Fox on their normal channels will not be in hi-def on a hi-def tv unless you have the hi-def package and are watching the 8xx series channels.

I have speed channel ...it's 83-9
again, I just use the internet cable and it picks up all these channels (no box) straight from the hdtv turner....hell, i even split that cable into two, one goes to my bedroom and the other goes to my gaming/pc room....all works fine
