Who digs Kasabian? (and discuss Grammy nonsense if you wish)
One of the best modern bands in my opinion. I was into them a couple years ago, and just listened to their newest album from 2009. My friend who spent time abroad in the UK said they're pretty big over there, but I know very few people who know of them stateside.
The Grammy's got me thinking again about how shitty modern music is. I don't like much of anything new anymore from the past couple years. Last edited by Derek Zoolander; 02-01-2010 at 05:11 PM.. |

I like Blur more. Fairly similar bands. Both HUGE in the UK. And the Grammys are nonsense. I forget where I saw the quote but someone talking about how the Grammys were "Old, dated critics trying to feel cool and young by nominating old, dated music they think is cool" or something along those lines

i really liked their song about jan palach, and the hungarian uprising against the soviets.
+1 on the grammy's being garbage---i prefer 90s brit pop myself. lush, elastica, ash, pulp, etc and for older music irish stuff, stiff little fingers and sultans of ping FC.
