Xpel Headlight Protection Install. Thanks to NAMOTORSPORTS
This weekend i drove up to the NAMOTORSPORTS shop to get the Xpel headlight protection installed on my car. They guys there are great and i would recommend them to Anyone for their products and their installs as well.
Xpel - This stuff is soooo thick. honestly its as thick as a penny, so it will definately withstand rocks, dirt, and anything else that comes flying at the headlights. Install - On a scale of 1-10, i'd say like a 6 or so. Basically its like putting on a tint on a window. You need to be very careful and patient with this. I can post a DIY if people want, but you can figure it out on your own from the pics. Overall impression - Once the stuff dries completely it will look awesome. And by awesome i mean it wont even look like is there in the first place. You cant see it around the edges which is awesome and the alignment is perfect. The stuff actually stretches a bit when installing, so you can get the alignment absolutely perfect if you take your time. Here are the pics. |

I installed the clear, but i wanted to take some pics of the Smoked.
We werent able to install it because once it goes on the car you cant take it off, or at least you cant reuse it. I took some pics of the sample piece they had though so you can see what it would look like. When the lights are off it has a awesome look to it. It is not to dark, but yet it is dark enough to really shade the headlights. Once the lights are on you can barely even notice that it is there. I had a hard time trying to even get a picture of it when the lights were on. |

My headlighs were in pretty good shape to start with. I was told that the adhesive used to hold these on actually works to fill in minor dings and dents in the headlight. Right now the glue on mine is still trying so its kinda of hard to tell. Once the glue dries completely i will let you know how it looks.
