thanks guys! i'm really enjoying driving my new toy. as i've heard many others say i find new reasons to go for a drive or extend a current one. i used to find the shortest way before - now i find myself finding the twistiest way to get there.
what a blast!

Feel like a kid again....
Hello Everyone:
I picked up my 335i yesterday and "WOW" what a car! The dealership was great and my salesperson spent around 3 hours with me to go over all the details. (Hats off to Howard Zimmerman at East Bay BMW) Needless to say, I took the 'back roads' home and even with a bit of wet pavement the car handled beautifully. My wife was following me in our 02 IS300 and she had a hard time keeping up through many of the turns, etc. I honestly feel like a sixteen year old again (who just received his drivers license) and find myself constantly looking for reasons to run errands, etc.... Once the weather clears up here I will post a bunch of pictures. I hope all of you are well.

i think we all have our rides now? glad to have shared the experience and i hope our rides all keep us smiling for ages to come. matlabGeek - i really agree with your comments of feeling like being sixteen again! its now one week and i'm still finding myself out there wanting to take it out for another spin. i'll post more pics when i get back from my next couple of weeks of travel. i'll be in withdrawal!!! enjoy your rides. and be safe of course.

the deep green is VERY dark and i'm really liking the colors all around. when i first came out of the dealership i thought they'd brought around someone else's jet or saphire black 335i just to tease me. did a double take when i saw the tints of green in the angles of the light. very sweet. it was getting low on light so that contributed to how dark it looks but it will be tough to catch that in pics - especially for a real novice point and clicker like me.
