Question Eisenmann Exhaust

Any one had/heard one of these on the 335d?

Love the car and if it dosent go the only thing left to do bar the map is the shite sound or lack off imo

What will it sound like on the black pump beast

Love these on the m5/3 but they are running v8/10s not 6c diesel

HotCoupe on here had a straight through exhaust on his old 335d, sounded like a tie fighter when it whizzed past on the Autobahn.

As for sound, I think Acerboo had an AC Schnitzer exhaust on and he said it sounded no different. PS It's also for sale at the moment, see the classifieds.

Well it's best to recycle Ed, it's such a shame to waste stuff.

And I am keeping it 'factory', its just that some factory stuff will be relocated, into the 'annexe' to the left of my shed.

It's the 'Sport' exhaust from Speed religion who unfortunately are no longer trading.

It's no biggy, just a bigger bore pipe with no back boxes and bigger tail pipes
As Will said earlier, sounds like a jet fighter, especially under load.

No sound track, but I'll get a friend to drive down the M25, and I'll hang off the back axle with a recorder

Jeff (acerboo) had the Eisenmann for his 335D, I don't think he was too impressed with it.

The Speed Religion exhaust is the only nice sounding one I have heard on the diesel. Whilst both the Eisenmann and Bastuck sound fantastic on the 335i they make no noticeable difference to sound on the 335d.

Suppose it's difficult to improve on perfection eh?

They do nothing in terms of performance either (Diesel).

The crazy thing about the SR exhaust is that all it consists of is a custom fabricated bigger bored pipe and bigger tips, and the better sound is mainly because there are no rear boxes, although the bigger bore pipes do contribute to a degree.
If you look closely at the pic you can see the pipes.

Ant (SR) also made claims in terms of a power increase due to the lack of the rear boxes, which of course makes sense, however I've never tested the claims, perhaps I should.

I can see another visit to Charlie to put it to the test.

I tested a Bastuck box on a 335d - it added about 8 BHP and 8 Ft/lbs torque IIRC.

9 bhp and 10 lbs/ft I think!

I wouldn't reccomend the quad, but if the oem look one does the same for power then great. Can confirm no sound change inside, reportedly slightly better outside...
