i can confirm, they cover the first one It might be harder now since times are tough...Mine burned out at 12,500 mi. It might be harder for yours since you have more mileage on it...

i had told mckenna bmw in norwalk about two months ago about my clutch getting jammed on 1st and 2nd gear, they checked it and said it was okay and now two months its burt. it smelled like burned wires and everything. i showed nick alexander bmw the notes that mckenna wrote on the receipt and they said that they are going to let me know whats wrong with my car tomorrow.

Mckenna sucks from what I hear. If they don't replace the clutch you better give them hell. Especially if you have the notes from mckenna.

so Alexander BMW is giving me all the parts for free and instead of charging me 10hrs of labor they're charging me for 8hrs of labor. Does this sound okay or should I fight with them? (8hrs of labor is like $1000)<-- sound right?

More like 1200. Dealers charge 150 an hour. Do you have the extended warranty or the extended maintenance? When my clutch went out at 26k they said that they would look at it and if there were enough burn marks they would not be able to replace it for free. Luckily they did so if you have the maintenance try fighting it. If you don't then it sounds pretty good. I was quoted 2500-2700 for a replacement if it was not covered.

No way. I would try to get the whole thing covered!
You have extended warranty for a reason. $1,200 is still ridiculous.
If its your first clutch and you have warranty the should cover it.

ya i have the 100,000 miles extended warranty and the extended maintenance i even called to confirm. before i bought the car i asked if it covered it and they told me yes the first one. i dont know if they told me that just so that i can but the car but it doesnt sound right for me to have warranty and it not cover this. why would they cover all the parts but not the labor? is there anyone that i can talk to about this?

oh sorry paul this is the reason why i never picked up the angel eyes...

I completely understand about the angeleyes.
Call BMWNA and complain like fuck! Tell them when you bought the car they specifically stated that the extended warranty covered parts including the clutch. What kind of scam are they running.
