E92 335i Fusebox - cigg lighter fuses

Hi All,

I have managed to blow the fuses on my car using a faulty tyre pump and wanted to know if this was easy to do my self. AS in buy fuses and replace in the fusebox area. I'm also not sure where it is tbh

Hi Zk1

Yep changing the fuses is simple, and with luck should fix your cig lighter problem.

The fuses are mounted in the glove box area. I have an E90, but im pretty sure the layout should be the same.

Open the glove box, and unclip the support bars so the glove box swings all the way down. Cant remember if there's a cover over the fusebox (I would go look, but my car is covered with snow atm!!)

There should be a paper fuse map showing the circuit function for each fuse, you need the Aux/Cig lighter one. From memory its a mini blade fuse, they only cost pence each. Check the fuse has blown, check the value, and pop a new one in. Pair of long nose pliers will help as well.

Hope that helps

Rob

Hi

In my E93 I am not able to swing down the glover box

Do anybody know if the fuse for the keyless go function cover other equipment in the car?
(no keyless go function for the moment)
