Exclamation Has anyone lowered their e90 with Eibach Pro Kit springs?

As you can see from my other posting, the first installation on my Eibach Pro Kit didnt go to well :
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5639

Well, anyways, I went to a tirerack preferred installer in Philadelphia to fix the problem. Springs were not installed properly basically by the first shop, and wasnt aligned as well. He found out that the right front suspension was 0.25" lowered than the left front. And this caused the car to pull to the right almost immediately

So, I had the tirerack installer re-install the springs again, then had it aligned. Caster, camber angles, and toe-in were check as required. Height rides on all four sections were checked as well. And, everything went well according from the computer print outs.

However, when I picked up the car, I can still feel the car drifts to the right! I test drove on all sides of the road, side of the road that banks to the left, and side that banks to the right, and the car still drifts to the right. I dont get it .

Went back to the tirerack installer, test drove the car with the store owner, and he said that this is ok, it will not wear out the tires unevenly because the car is well aligned now, and it will not mess up the suspension. He said that the bigger size wheels (19" x 8.5 vs the stock 16" x 7) and the lowered suspension could cause the car to drift slightly to the right. Not so sure about this explanation. Never had a problem when I lowered my Supra TT with Tein Coilovers.

I am still paranoid about this though, and am concern that i might mess up the suspension in the future. Is this common guys? Should i install the factory springs back into the car?? Please help

just realized that tirerack preferred installer didnt inspect the rear suspensions yet. So, I called him, and ask him if it's necessary to inspect them. He said that the rear suspension appeared to be properly installed.

But, I am still in doubt whether the rear springs were installed properly by the first shop, especially after they messed up on both sides of the front suspension.

What do you guys think? Could improper installation on the rear springs cause drifting to the right? Should i have the tirerack installer inspect the rear springs, eventhough he already said they appeared to be properly installed.

Sure it has been a nightmare,

Longtran, do you know any one who is an expert on suspension? Or anyone who has lowered their e90 with the Eibach Pro Kit?

In the mean time, I had the tirerack installer call Eibach this morning to see if there is anything they can do to fix the drifting.

Worst case scenario, i am just gonna go back with the factory springs, hopefully nothing will go wrong when i have the stock ride again. The car only has 309 miles! I have the car lowered for just roughly 40 miles! Hopefully this is early enough to stop further problems
