HID Bulbs

Hey guys I have 8500k Halogen bulbs in my e90 right now. My car does not have xenons, but I was wondering can I put HID Bulbs in my non xenon lights? Or are there any other choices I can do? I know this is a newb question but can you please help? I'm looking for more of a blue headlight color.

sure you can. you can put HID in any headlight. do you have the projector style headlights or the regular reflector style? they will look like shit if you have the regular halogen style lights and will also blind other drivers.

having blue lights in a not projector style headlight looks way to wannabe. i dont recommend it.

IF you upgrade to OEM projector headlights.

Otherwise, you'll look like a civic with blue lights and be blinding everybody else on the road. Which would make you a ......

OEM projector and HID kit or no go.

You can install an HID kit but I DO NOT recommend it at all. Your non projector headlights are going to glare and cause light dispersion issues. You are best off with an OE projector setup that will provide a clean cut off.
