license plate issue..

hey, im newbie..

i already have my own license plate, but i wanna get something sick license plate.. like others... (i.e BIMMER/ E90 335i/BENZKILLER..)

how much do you pay for it?
tried to search, but i didnt get the result on this site.
Any info?

It's on the DMV's website. There are many tiers, ie regular background will cost less than the special backgrounds. I believe it's around $40-60 extra initially and per year for the cheapest option.

PS have fun with getting benzkiller because your car will probably get keyed sooner or later.

lol... so, all i have to do is just ordering personalize LP( $40-60 ) on dmv's website? hmmm... do you know how long it takes to get them?

btw,do you have ur own personalize LP?

It's 49 to get the plates made, and 38 a year to maintain them. They say it takes 8-12 weeks, but I got mine in 6 weeks I think.

I did mine through the DMV website: https://xml.dmv.ca.gov/IppWebV3/welcome.do

they send it to a DMV office, where you'll need to turn in your old plates to get the new ones. If iirc, it took a 6-8 weeks.
