the thing is that even thought the aero spoiler is subtle, it's not as subtle as the m3 spoiler....the problem is that if the spoiler looks too overdone, it looks kinda ricer and that gap in the aero spoiler kinda gives that effect IMO

Seriously?

I'd agree with you if you were referring to something like the ACS spoiler, but you're reaching to put the OEM in the same category.

^^^TH,
First of all, I've always thought that your ride looked sweet. It represents us black-colored cars very well. Although I have to say that the aero spoiler does NOT look riced out, I still prefer the M3 spoiler. Again, this is all subjective. I just don't like the gap between the spoiler and the trunklid. I'd go with the CSL-style bootlid or the M3 spoiler.

I appreciate the comp. very much & agree with your opinion. The last post referring to the OEM as "riced" rubbed me wrong ........... considering there are so many other options for these cars that do just that ....... rice.

No worries .......... I haven't posted as much lately so I'm still finding my groove.

Agree, the M3 spoiler is more subtle than the Aero. But that's exactly why I prefer the Aero. To me, the 335i rear needs something a bit more aggressive.

Ricer? Hardly! Don't forget the Aero pieces were designed by BMW (Chris Bangle et al) specifically to complement the overall design of the car. While BMW has made some bad design decisions over the years (don't get me started...), they don't do "ricer."

And neither do I!

Doesnt the Aero Kit Rear Spoiler require drilling into the trunk?

I think that was the basis of me going with the M3 Rear lip. Otherwise I know the aero does look better.

No drilling required.

The OEM install instructions call for Betalink adhesive. My installer just used double-sided tape.
