anybody from East Bay?
hey, im newbie..
I've been trying to replace my kidney grills, but I have a problem with hex screws.. I went and got a 10 dollar set of torx screwdrivers, and got 5/6 screws taken out. However, the damn far left screw won't come out. It just keeps spinning and spinning. I could really use some help here, I don't know how to get the last one out... so, i took it to my dealer to take that out, and they charged 85 dollars.. therefroe, im looking for another way to fix this.. i really need to someone who can help me out.. otherwise, i have to go to dealer or bodyshop and pay hella money for this.. thank you for any help. |

Ok, take a flat head screw driver and put it behind the tab and pry outwards applying pressure to the back of the tab, as you are doing this turn the the screw out with the other hand. Mine did the same thing. It will work.
Holy shit I just read the rest of your post!, 85.00 dollars! Are you kidding me! Just try what I told you! The screw just needs pressure put on it so the threads catch.
