1st time service trip Newbie
My 2007 335i has 43,967 miles on it. I bought it used with 42K miles CPO. The other day my service light came on for spark plug replacement. I'm under the understanding maintenance is covered free till 50K. So, my other items say they have the following miles left:
spark plugs: 800 miles rear brakes: 3900 miles front brakes: 14,000 oil: 6000 microfilter: 25,000 vehilce check 21,000 If I schedule an appt is there any chance of getting the other stuff done free? How you you approach it? Never gone through this before, usually did all my own maintenance. Andrew |

If the car thinks they should be done, it will tell the dealer to do it. If not, the dealer won't do it because they won't get paid.
The front brakes, microfilter and vehicle check are definitely too far off for them to do it. Rear brakes maybe. Oil maybe not since it still has about 1/3 life left. Check the service history, when was the last oil change? If it has been over a year, they will change it.

Ok, figured the wouldn't do too much, I'll ask them to check the most recent oil change. Also, I have a pretty bad speaker rattle on the driver side think they'd look at fixing that?

yeah, they tend to take care of you pretty good as long as you're under the free maintenance program (4 years from original in service date or 50k). They'll even change your wipers... from what I've heard on here, they seem to at least take a look at any minor complaint.
once you move in to CPOville (over 50k for you probably), they charge you a premium for maintenance, and warranty issues cost $50 per visit. |

The dealer will not do the things that are not yet scheduled
