blackline installation problem.

hey, im installing blackline on my e90.

i read DIY installation guide written by longtan, and did it.

i started with trunk, and replaced two of blacklines (trunk side R/L)

now, im trying to take out three screws (on rear side [not the trunk side])

and my tool (5/16 socket) doesnt fit on screws..

what kind of tool do i have to use?

and also, i cant put back the carpet plug.. any suggestions?

its really easy to pop them out, but its really hard to put them back.

Sigh..

heres the 3 nuts that im talking about.

You should be using a metric socket. It's been years since I did this, but I think it's a 10mm socket. Using a short extension bar will make things easier too. Be careful when you get the bolt off that it doesn't drop down under the carpet - if it does you'll never get it back!

The carpet panel is flexible, so if you bend it a little (but not too much!) it should pop right back in there.

I would just pick up a complete metric socket set, as I can't remember if it was 10mm. Would be useful to have a set anyway if you plan on working on an E90!

You might want to get deep socket set while you're at it or aome open ended wrenches
