anybody w/ Linea Corse wheels in SoCal?
hello all...this is my first post here and i had a request...
i was actually directed over by Zoeb (from WheelDude.com)... i was really interested in getting some Linea Corse Venetos for my car, and was about to pull the trigger...but then i talked to some people and they said the wheel looks 'cheap' in person... i was wondering if anybody here has a set of Linea Corse's that i could take a look at... i know theres a pretty big meet coming up on 2/20, but i work Saturdays and by the time im off and could be there, most would have dispersed... any other input/opinions regarding the wheels in general would be great too thank you! |

i had some on my last car.
Here is my opinion. 1. The lips are machine polished. So dont expect it to look like chrome. 2. For the money, they are nice wheels 3. Wish they would fit the new car so i could of kept em. I really wanted to drop 5k on a set of DPEs/Enkreuz, but decided against it. The wheels looked great on the car. I wish they could put more time into the polishing as it was kind of dissappointing when i got them. If you look at pictures, the lips look very shiny, as they do from a distance. Up close, not soo much. |

Should be enough said. LC look sick if you do it right. WheelDude has a great rep on this forum. |

supahdave... thanks for the input! im most likely going w/ wheels in hyperblack so the polish lip part doesnt really apply for me... but from your 3rd point, it seems that they were good enough to want them to still be around xPaul...thanks for the link...those 2 look amazing! i keep telling myself that if Linea Corse is good enough for you guys, its good enough for me... but the adage 'you get what you pay for' keeps running through my head...kind of like these are too good to be true |

But there's also a limit in my opinion. Take a car for example. A BMW vs a comparable Honda. Both great cars but the BMW is better and more expensive for obvious reasons. More expensive yet not double or even triple the price of the exactly same type of honda. When it comes to car parts, I understand there's different quality products. I just recently picked up a set of wheels. I was planning on some BBS LMs. Which IMO are one of the greatest wheels if you have the money. Unfortunately the time isn't right and I picked up a set of Cast wheels for literally 1/4 of the price. Now I know BBS Forge is the shit, but I can get 4 sets of cast for the price of one. It all depends on what your budgets like and what is most realistic to you. LC are good wheels for the price. |
