flat tire warning came on
just wanted to share my experience yesterday. i was driving to the meet yesterday on the 5 south freeway and my flat tire warning went on, i was wtf? i was a little worry because have no run flat tires. everything seem to be driving ok, so i didnt bother pulling over. after the meet i checked out the tire pressure. the front tire was 5 somthing under than the other 3 tires. i think its read kpa or psi, but it was under...good thing in the group natureboy had a portable pump. i added 5 more whatever (psi or kpa) and reset the sensor and everything is fine....

good to know the early warning system works - with or without run flats.
Keep an eye on it for a possible slow leak. Maybe an imbedded nail. Check the tyre carefully. All the best.

I've had a small nail in one of my front tyres for at least a month - that was when my dealer pointed it out to me. I've done nothing about it in the meantime, except check the tyre pressure once. The tyre with the nail in it is a few psi less than the other front tyre and I'm still waiting for the warning to come up. I'll keep on waiting.

I think I remember reading somewhere in the owner's manual about some process to "reset" the tire pressure monitor if you change the air pressure.
