Best way to launch 335xi????
Why does the car restrict u when u launch it when in normal mode(no dtc pressed)??!!
If u hold dtc button it takes everything off. It launches better with no restriction. Now I've added the modified cdv and it takes off easier but u could lose control if u rev too high. Any thoughts anyone on this?? |

...huh?
You're asking why the car cuts power when you launch with full traction control on? Its because you have full traction control on. When a wheel starts to slip, it will cut power. I'm not sure how much this affects the xi's but I'm assuming enough to cut power as you're explaining it. If you press the DTC button once it will be a little bit less intrusive and allow for some more play before correcting you. If you hold it down for 5 seconds you completely turn off traction control and can do whatever you want without the computer butting in. By the sound of it, you shouldn't be doing this if you have problems keeping control of an all wheel drive 335 while attempting to launch it. |
