Sprint Booster!
So...a good mate of mine was talking to me about the sprint boosters. He wanted to sell me one, but i wasnt keen as i dont think they will really make much diference. So then he suggested i take one for a week, see if i like it then go from there.
Today i fitted mine in on the M3, to be honest i really did not expect nothing. But...WOW!! I was so wrong! Its great, im truely suprised with the diference, its like having M-mode on without it being on so i thought id stick it on M-mode and see what improvements it shows...dammmm wheels where spinnin all over the place lol. Dont know if its just me, but i did notice improvements as its now much more sensitive and responsive. I was told it makes a huge diference on the M3 with DCT as they do suffer some lag when driving on low revs and coming to overtake etc.. So to conclude...i think its a great lil thing to add and only takes 2 mins to install He can supply them for £140 posted, so if anyone here is intrested just PM me

no worries Buddy
I understand why it makes you feel like the car is faster and that is a good thing but it will never give you more power as in bhp get some pics up when you fit those spacers Buddy . mikey

Oh yh, forgot to mention - obviously no bhp gain. Just that nice acceleration feeling as to be honest...the M3 does not have that 'pull' like the 335i did. The feelin when the turbos kick in was awesome on the 335i, and this kind of gives you that feeling if it makes sence?

They don't add power, but alter the throttle response and sensitivity, likened in many cars to putting it in sport mode permanently
very popular in boxsters and caymans, but be careful of turning your car into an oversensitive pain in the arse |

Are they not just giving the "Placebo Effect" because you have one fitted then you go looking for differences and 'con' yourself into thinking they do? I may be wrong but history has proven that most gimmicks are just gimmicks? Marcus |
