OK so finally picking up my car tomorrow! 328i if you were wondering...anyway i was going over the contract and i noticed a $625 fee included in the money up front along with my taxes, first month payment, security payment, and DMV fees. anyone know what this could be??

It's the acquisiton fee - mandatory. Can be marked up to $825 so count yourself lucky. Frankly I'm amazed you leased a car and didn't know about it. I hope you got a good deal.
The acquisition fee is basically the cost of doing a lease. It includes gap insurance/coverage to protect BMW when you total the car.

Destination is $695 and I've found that to be non-negotiable. Is it $625 or
$695? Like DarkAgent says, ask your dealer and if they say it's for doing paperwork or some other dealer BS task talk them out of it or at least reduce it considerably. If it's for a clerk to run paperwork that's a cost of doing business and maybe an attempt to recapture $20 for his/her time might be more reasonable. (EDIT: SteveMD answered what it might be as I was sending my post.)
