E91 320D exhaust fumes

Anyone get a whiff of their own exhaust fumes inside the car occasionally?

Usually in the mornings when driving, NOT stationery?

Thats every morning now i have noticed them for the past few weeks.

Yet ANOTHER indication of a failed MAF sensor. Have you still not had that looked at? People keep saying it to you

Had both a 320d E91 and my current 330d E91 and never smelt the exhaust fumes.

Ill kick you in teh balls

No lad...not looked at yet as it involves car being out of action for a bit....

Same as injectors so i am factoring a coupel of days off in teh next few weeks to look at that.

Incidentally....

I have NEVER seen one thread linking fumes to MAF being out of spec....

yeah me to, had it the other day whilst sat in the drive way so no other cars about to blame. Mine is going for a 'look at' by the workshop supervisor on Tuesday afternoon then get it booked in for a few days to get it diagnosed, I am going to ask him to check it out thoroughly as it's a concern aswell as my idling problem, bit pissed off with it at the moment and have looked at other cars to see what I can get for my money.

Bad day when your looking at the new Astra!!

I am going to press BMW to sort this out this week, problem I have is that my idle problem only happens every day and disapears when I go to the dealer LOL...but it is an issue I am having and I am not pleased but I have been given a 'contact' who works for BMW support so I have him involved now on the quiet anyways.
