High Mileage 335i Owners

Calling all high mileage 335i owners, 50,000+ and higher cars. What has went wrong if anything with your cars? I bought my car at 70k and at 80k the HPFP went bad, other than that, everything else is good, what about you?

What is the prior service history of your car? If the fuel injectors haven't been changed then expect that soon. All six of mine were replaced at ~88K miles.

Based on my lemoned 08 (I'll include the mileage they went out on mine just from dramas sake), expect, injectors (12,000 miles), pump again and again (149 miles, 12,000 miles), fuel pressure sensors again and again (5,000 miles, 12,000 miles) and fuel gauge sensor (5,000 miles).

I haven't checked the service history yet so I'm not sure, I hope my injector's don't go out soon, did you pay out of the pocket for yours or did you have an extended warranty? If you paid, how much was it?

I had the OEM extended warranty. I was told that my out-of-pocket expense would have been ~$3800.

My original HPFP went ~59K miles. The high pressure fuel sensor has been changed once.

That's actually not bad mileage on the pump, even if they weren't defective. The sensor I am sure was a pretty cheap fix.

Bought mine last June w/ 48K, added a JB3 in October and it's just shy of 60K now w/o issue. Service history shows HPFP & spark plugs, yes spark plugs @ 42K, LPFP @ 23k. Check http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6718 for Extended Warranty info

I'm approaching 50k. Opting out of Extended Warranty. Hope she stays solid!

OP you must have gotten a really good deal to buy a 335 post 50k (assuming it isn't CPO?)
