Has anyone dealt with them or has heard of anyone that has that extended warranty? My car is getting close to the 4 year mark and either I get a refund from that warranty company and buy one from bmwna or stick with it and see what happens. The only thing I found that put me a ease alittle was

I have gold. When I purchased my car about 2 yrs ago, I also purchased The SGI warranty. I thought It would start to cover my car after the factory warranty expired, but I was wrong. Anyways Im not quite sure whats the deductable. Im taking my car in for service tomorrow and ill prob ask Paul Cox if I can still get my car serviced at any BMW delear. But if I mod my car will that void the 3rd party warranty?

any esc(extended service contract) would have to authorize the claim(repair),so more likely to have their representative inspect the vehicle for approval.

I just looked over the SGI contract and there is a ton of stuff not covered on the Platinum plan. Basically any repairs to the cd will only be covered up to $300 what a joke. They don't cover anything on the GPS, convertible tops, voice recognition systems, audio/video, any exhaust components the list goes on and on. Basically all the stuff that you would have issues with.

Its a joke that the BMW dealer is selling this plan...

That's why keeping a BMW with all these options past warranty is always risky. And the warranty companies know better to not cover these.
