The stealthiest DV setup?
Folks,
As I am making my mod list for my 335i, inevitably, I am adding better diverter valves to it. I have two requirements for the diverer valves: 1. To be reliable while providing the advertised performance gains 2. To be as stealthy looking as possible. I don't like shiny stuff in my engine bay. I want to look as stock as possible. That being said, which is the stealthiest setup I can buy when it comes to upgrading my diverter valves? Pictures would be highly appreciated! Thanks, Vasil |

unfortunately, it may look black or stealth, but in no way resembles the factory DV system. If anyone with 1/2 a brain looks at them, they can tell within a matter of seconds that you have an upgraded DV system.

Diverter valves are literally extremely east to remove and put oem ones on when you need to.. It takes 15 min MAX.. More like 5-10 if you know what you are doing..

Go with Forge if you like no noise or BOV if you like the swoosh. Either way, you might as well install some DCI's or Injen DCI if you're going to install DVs since you will have to take the stock box out.
It should take an hour max to revert from aftermarket DCI, DVs to stock. |

Thanks for the input. I saw the Forge units...
So is it absolutely sure that I have to remove the stock airbox in order to install the Forge DVs? I really want to keep my stock airbox. DCI does not cut it in my mentality... |

You only need to remove stock airbox for the DV install. You don't need to remove it completely or replace with DCIs. In that case, just get a drop-in K&N or BMW filter. I would pair those with some scoops. Cyba sells them for $40. Not a bad price at all.

I will be installing black Forge DVs with a black Evo Racewerks charge pipe, don't know if it gets any more stealth than that.
