I believe Rim & Wheel Works used to be in Newton and is now located in Waltham...but I prefer Rim Pro. I used both and the workers over at Wheel Works were sketchy. They were trying to scam their owner out of money by telling me to just bring in the wheels to them on the weekend and they will do it for 1/2 the cost. I don't like that shady stuff.

I've heard good things about Rim Pro in Tewksbury. My buddy took his Lancer GTS there to get a couple of factory wheels straightened out a couple of months ago, and they did a nice job. They advertise in Boston Bimmer and other local BMW-oriented publications too, so they are pretty well known among enthusiasts.

I went to rim & wheel works to fix this: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...37&postcount=6
No after pix as the damage was on the inside of the wheel. Got an appt quick, which was nice but not completely happy with results. Still slightly out of round after repair. Not enough that the car constantly shakes but enough to be noticable & annoying. I've done the DIY for cosmetic repairs (curb rash) came out fine. |

I wouldn't say it's 100%, but you won't notice unless you are looking for it. |

Ouchhh. I gave up. I'm in the process of getting them powdercoated. I bondoed it with jb weld (metal bondo), and I will be taking it in tomorrow to finish them off. I hope the powdercoat sticks to the bondo. I had it striped the first time around when I used the stuff in the diy. Cost me 35 bucks a rim to strip.

I used the regular bondo with the red hardener. Make sure you clean REALLY well before doing this.
Looks like this place has the stuff: http://www.goodspeedmotoring.com/pai...eel-paint.html |
