is bmw finance any good?

just to see whether it is a better idea to go to banks or bmw finance. as i only need 5000-7000 pounds.

as with all finance, they are good if you get a good rate from them. it matters not where the money comes from..

as you only need a 'relatively' small amount, why not get an interest free credit card?

You can get the dealer to drop the rate for you but I don't think they would want to know for 5k. Shop around, moneysupermarket.com or similar.
