Installed JB32.0
Crazy install. I was doing great and ran the usb cable through the wall, perfect. Here is when all the fun started. I started the car and all was fine, no problems. Then I took the BT cable out and scanned, while I was doing this my dash started flickering and then gone. Tried to start, no go, DEAD. Jumped the car and up and running. Now I know what the talk was about with the Steering Lock Error. Got that now. I drove around hoping to get the battery charged and maybe the error would clear. No Luck. So, I got a new battery and installed. Cleared the re-learning of the battery. Started the car, Steering Wheel Lock gone!
I have the common 29F3 error, not worried about that. But I have this Fault 511B under the transmission and for the life of me, I dont know what it is and I searched EVERYWHERE! So, I was wondering if any ever seen this before and could shed lite on it. Gearbox control unit Current Fault Codes 511B: Coding error Error will not cause a warning light Error is currently present Test conditions have been completed Short circuit or signal interruption About 5 months ago, they did replace the transmission so, I dont know. I wish I scanned an earlier version and looked to see if this was present before I did this and experienced the battery outage..... Sorry for the long posted, just curious. By the way, car runs great! and the JB3 just rocks! |

I checked everything in the ECU box. Is there something in there that can be related to the tranny?
What did I just do? I knocked one of the gents threads off? |

If you had low battery, or a voltage anomoly, you can get all kinds of strange codes. Reset them, make sure the battery is fully charged and see if anything comes back.

Oh, yeah, you should have seen all those codes with low voltage, i had about 10 of them, it will make you go nuts. I cleared everything and all I have are those two now. I know the 29F3 is just the low pressure switch may have a problem, as I seen that posted numerous times. I swear, I must have bad luck, and Friday was a great day, then the battery had to change that. By the way, I bought the battery at Advance Auto and it is a perfect replacement, with about 60 more CCA.
