Nokia N97 and the Beemer

Has anyone got an N97?

Mine used to work fine with the bluetooth in the car, but now won't connect.

However, when I leave the car the phone thinks it is still connected and won't let me make calls until I reboot.

It used to work fine - not sure what's going on.

PS, I'd not recommend the N97, it's rubbish!

Have one, but haven't had the problems you describe. Guess you could try re-pairing the phone and car, but I've no idea if that would help.

I have one. To be honest, the only surprise is when something works OK with this phone! Worst phone I have ever had - by miles. The phone works through the car OK after phone software update to V20, but address book hit and miss on phone alone - let alone on car.

I'm hoping version 2.1 will solve it, should be available any day. But not holding my breath!

Still can't get the little beggar to connect.

Just spent 15 mins in the car fiddling around - eventually got it to connect but when I leave the car and come back it won't connect again.

The new firmware on the phone hasn't helped either

Guess I'll just have to accept that in car = no phone - suppose that's not a bad thing anyway.

I could never get my N97 to work at all, some people seem to get it to work and others don't, apparently the BMW software isn't compatable with the nokia N series.

The most annoying thing is that it used to work, but now doesn't. Something must have changed but I can't work out what!
