Oil temp with Motul Specific LL04 5w40

I have just changed my oil from Mobil1 5w40 to the latest Motul Specific 5w40 which is LL04 certified.
The Motul website says this is the best match for our N54 engines.

When I was driving to work today I noticed the oil temp got to 240 degrees while the ambient temp was only 44 degrees.
It looks like Motul warms up much faster than my previous Mobil1, but I am a bit concerned that the oil temp reached 240 degrees at so low ambient temp.
I am wondering what will happen in summer at 90 degrees

As far as I remember the max temp I have ever seen with Mobil1 was 250 or a bit more, but it was after some hard driving in rather warm weather.

Do you guys have any experience with Motul Specific LL04 or have any ideas what's going on ?

Thanks.

My BMW castrol 5w-30 can get that hot if I'm not moving around much/sitting in traffic regardless of ambient air temp.

It just takes a longer period of time of sitting still/driving at grandma speeds for it to hit 240 if its cooler outside.

The traffic was pretty bad indeed and the ambient temp was also higher than it was for last 2 months, but I will keep an eye on my oil temp.
