Wavetrac is Looking for Someone with an AT Rear End!
Dana from Wavetrac contacted me over the weekend to ask if I knew anyone that had a newer style AT (188 Sized) rear end. I don't but I'm sure I could find someone here.
For those who don't know, BMW has 3 different rear diffs for the 135i/335i ATs. 1. Production Date Before 03/07 (210 Style Diff with Bolted Ring Gear) 2. Production Date During 03/07 up to and including 09/07 (210 Style Diff with Welded Ring Gear) 3. Production Date After 09/07 (188 Style Diff with Bolted Ring Gear) Wavetrac is just about finished with their 188 sized rear differential and they need a rear end to fit it in and make sure everything is tip top. In exchange for borrowing the differential, they will give a wavetrac at a great price. For those who are interested, please contact Dana at (949) 362-8700.

Not necessarily true................I have a Step 05/07 just like you and mine was a 210 Style Diff with Bolted Ring Gear. One way to find out is, email Bird's UK your VIN number and they'll be able to tell you.
