USB Track Playing order
Hey guys, did an unsuccessful search, so hoping someone can help. After the car's been turned off for a while, the audio will play the very first alphabetical order song on the usb drive. Anyway to get around that and just have the audio pick up from the last track it left off on? Thanks!

Sorry, I don't have this problem. I use a couple different thumb drives and the car even remembers what track I was listening to when I switch between drives.
Do you have your music organized into folders? I have all my music organized in folders A-Z and found that the car recognizes the drive and indexes the files much faster than having 900+ files in a single folder.

Thanks, vampie. Yeah, I have them in folders, but sometimes it'll jump to the first song in the first folder. At first I thought it could be a thumb drive issue, but I've started to realize that it only jumps back to the first folder if I was playing a song from certain folders -- for other folders, it starts right back up where I left off.
I wonder if it has something to do with the folder or files... |

Try comparing the files that cause the problem with the others that don't. Check things like the ID3v1/v2 tags and file names for weird characters, the bit rate, etc.
