Hey guys, hoping you can help me out with my current situation.

I got an aero lip from e90 and once received I saw that the maker was ********. After reading a lot of threads on them I thought I was going to have problems with fitment and whatnot... anyways everything seemed to be okay until 2 weeks later when I realized there were TONS of rock chips on the lip.

Well, now it's been a few months since I've had the lip on and all I can say is that the paint on this lip is absolute crap. I'm not exaggerating when I say that it has probably over 300 visible chips on it (many over 1cm in diameter), it's so bad that I actually prefer the car to be dirty so that it's not as noticeable.

Anyways, I'm just wondering what my options are and how much it would cost me... are there any places that will repaint it but with the same quality of paint as BMW? Will BMW repaint it for me? I'm asking because I notice in the past year that I've had the car, I can only see 2 SUPER TINY rock chips on the BMW original paint (even before the lip was on) so I can only assume that their paint job is totally different then from what ******** did.

If you guys know any places, have any suggestions, or have had a similar experience I'd be grateful to hear it. Thanks

Sounds like a paint issue... Take it to a reputable body shop like European Autobody, im sure the paint will hold up better.
