I just did this from a forum member here. Mine is a little different in that I have an air vent mount right above the radio and the cable pokes out between the bottom of the aluminum trim and the top of the radio dash piece.
I used an $11 vent mount from best buy and the same Kensington LiquidAUX that is mentioned in that post. Works really well.

Sure, I put a couple (sideways, sorry) pics in my photo album on the forum, they're kinda unwieldy so i'll just link them for you:
with/out vent mount with vent mount I ended up having to do mine a bit differently than the other poster did, and ALL credit certainly goes to him, but it works essentially the same way. Let me know if you're interested and I'll go into detail of what was done.

if you can work with sheet metal (which isn't hard at all), you can try making your own, like these:
