Retrofit new LCI facelift tailights on the 2011 e92?

First off, i think the new tailights are amazing. Therefore, I was wondering if anyone knew if these tailights were the same size, i wanted to put them on my 08 e92. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure they're shaped differently so that's a no. I could be wrong though, we'll have to see.

Here's what I'm talking about: See how they curve and angle down around the side?

...But for some reason the last pic (looks like a vert) they look like the same shape as pre-LCI.....strange

Might have to do with the hardtop/trunk of the e93's so that's the good news. Hopefully we'll be able to swap these in.

Unfortunately, I think all of us who want to retrofit these LCI taillights may have to get a new trunk too.

E92/3 LCI trunk looks the same to me, so it should be a direct fit. E90/1 will need a new trunk/hatch to switch to LCI lights though.

I agree. I think some of the appeal of the 2011 is simply that it's newer, and people like to make their cars appear to be newer. I remember LED license plate lamp threads, rear fog lamp headlight switch threads, all of these are for show.
