AMS turbo upgraded 335i for sale?

Look what I stumbled across when I was checking out 6speed.

http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/a...00hp-sale.html

Hmm... I remember I last saw it with a video of it burning motor oil. The smoke was all blue coming out of the exhaust.

Did anyone else end up getting the turbo upgrades?

Don't know about the smoke, but it's $2000 less if you say you saw it here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=348618

AMS determined that the machine time was too high for the performance gained and gave up on stock turbo upgrades: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...+turbo+upgrade

yea but i dont think anyone on stock turbos is making that kind of power curve it is well over 400 for a while and holds all the way to 7k and stock turbos loose effiency at high rpm

I agree with all of that. You could easily pick up a much lower mileage car for way less money and if you really want to, wait for a turbo upgrade or just make it perform even better for a lot less cash.

if I had a quarter for everytime someone said "wait for a turbo upgrade" I'd be rich by now.

I'm pretty sure the AMS 335i is dead because of all the mods on it.
