335i Exhaust and emissions
Hi I would like to know a few things about the US and its emissions regulations.
I would really like to slap on a full exhaust system on my 335 with a complete removal of all CATs in the system. 1) how do you go about this without getting in trouble? |

I don't know about your state, but in Cali, the fine is heavy for not having the cats. Around $2,000 I believe. Your car will also be incredibly loud as well. Personally I don't think it's worth it because I don't like the smell of sulfur and I don't want to take a risk getting caught without running cats. I have numerous friends who run straight pipes on their cars, some get stopped by the police and some don't. It depends on your luck, IMO. |

Well I ran a catless 3 inch complete exhaust with my evo 7 and it wasnt that much louder then the 3 inch with a cat. I find that the benifits outweigh the cost
