Very interested! I'm already going to the Formula 1 race this year in Montreal (1st time going).

I've never been to an Indy race either...I don't follow Indy much, but this package sounds very exciting!

Which ticket package are you ordering? I'm curious to know what features are included in the general pass for Sunday... as in... the one that doesn't give you a grand stand

Also I may be interested in this Indy meet as well... sounds pretty good

I know there are hotel + race packages, but I decided to use my Starwood points and stay at the Sheraton.

Here is the information given for general pass for Sunday:

GENERAL ADMISSION (SUNDAY)
In order to observe all the action on the track, you have access to the following areas: between grandstands 15, 24 and 22 in the hairpin; behind grandstand 34, close to grandstand 33. Space is limited and the early birds are more susceptible to occupy the best observation posts. You can visit the exhibits in the center of the track as well as the support races paddocks.
