Pinnacle F1 Tint in VA

Hey Guys,

Just got my windows tinted with Pinnacle F1 35%. It was done by Sarath (manager) at LA Tint in Alexandria. Great honest guy. He tinted up to the dot matrix on the back and black vinyled the dot matrix. Quote was $273 + $20 for the black vinyl.

I highly recommend this guy

Yeah, nice deal! I was quoted $599 to do all except the windsheild with F1. Instead I went cheap (Solarguard) and now regret it.

That is a great price. I hope he also gave you the papers that go with it for the lifetime warranty.

He just gave me the receipt =) that's about it. LA tint is pretty legit.

what's the difference between pinnacle f1 tint and regular tint?

Pinnacle F1 is a ceramic tint that doesn't interfere with your electronics (i.e. garage opener, radio, etc) while regular tint has metals in their tint that does decrease electronic range.

I got mine done at LA Tint but they didnt do the vinyl and it looks bad. i have the pinacle as well. I wonder if they will fix it for me.

You do the vinyl after they do the tint and wait 5 days. I had to drive from howard county all the way to alexandria...twice.

Can you point out where the vinyl is applied? I still don't understand the problem with tinting the dot matrix.
