Got it. I would still say no because BT in the phone is set up for sending and receiving calls ( transmitting ) There is no protocol to set up voice without a transmitting call.

Doesn't Verizon offer good rebates on the Razr? I have tried many different phones in the 335 but the Razr offers the best functionality/connectivity

Not worried about cost as I get 100$ of the sale price, or pretty much any phone I want. Have you tried the Samsung. I hava an older model samsung and I like it alot. But Motorola is featured on the BMW website so I may go with that. Just not big on the RZR, plus everyone has it.

Call waiting?

Quick question . . .

A couple of posts back on this thread, call waiting was mentioned and JSpira mentioned that it was not a supported feature.

I currently have a Motorola E815 and will switch to a new phone here soon. The E815, as mentioned above, does not play nice with call waiting and the BMW.

My question is this, what is the Active Calls screen in iDrive for? I initially thought that this screen was there to allow you to switch between two calls or possibly merge the two into a conference call, and that my E815 does not support this. But with the info that the BMW does not support call waiting, I'm a bit confused. If the screen were just for one call, why is it labeled active calls?

Just curious and thought I'd ask.

Went with the LG VX-8300 Everything works perfect. Phonebook transferred in about a minute or less. VZ Navigation also works great through the phone. Nice feature, accurate, good maps and always with you....
