Reading the VIN code

Hi, was just trying decode my VIN code, I thought the 2006 3 series E90's came from South Africa however the code seems to say Germany,

code is something like WBAVA followed by numbers. W stands for the manufacturing country

VIN Character 1 - Manufacturing Country Codes
1 or 4 2 3 J K S W Z
USA Canada Mexico Japan Korea England Germany Italy

Any clue to my curiosity?

oky, sorted it out, seems the 7th letter from the end designates where it was built, mine says N, so is Rossyln, South Africa

A,F,G,K = Munich Germany
P,E,J = Regensburg Germany
V= Leipzig Germany
N= Rosslyn South Africa
